Belgian Chocolate & Homemade Chamoy

Tamarindo Sticks

Luis Tena

"What on earth is this stick they put in my chamoy fruit cup? Should I eat it? Is it a straw??" The answer is both! Tamarindo sticks are a traditional Mexican candy that have been around years before Chocolateka was established. When the Tena sisters came up with our chamoy recipe, they knew right away tamarindo sticks had to be included in our fruit cups. Chew the bottom of a Tamarindo stick off and it turns into a straw. You can now slurp the chamoy & lime at the bottom of your fruit cup, drink the sorbet in your mangonada, or drink some of your chamoy raspa. Stop by any of our stores and enjoy this bonus in your chamoy snack!
